The Company is headquartered in Brea, California, with key sourcing and sales offices in London, England; Shanghai, China; and Branford, Connecticut. All procurement in the eastern half of North America is handled by CHRC.
Newport is a direct exporter of recyclable raw materials for the burgeoning Asian economies, especially China. Initially only involved in secondary fiber, Newport has expanded its portfolio to include recyclable plastic and steel scrap. Vertical integration including in-house freight forwarding, rate negotiation, and documentation services has been key to the Company's success. Newport is also licensed by the Chinese government to conduct its own pre-export quality inspections of recovered material as required by Chinese law.
