The company has niche markets in the banana industry of South and Central America as well as the Philippines, and, with a partner company, has maintained an office in Medellin, Colombia, for more than twenty years.
In 2005, Canusa's Kraft Group established a 50:50 venture, EC Independent, with Evergreen Fibers of Branford Connecticut. This company concentrates on sales in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states. In 2006, the Kraft Group opened a Midwest sales office to focus on both national and regional companies headquartered in the heartland of the USA.
